CLASS ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Music Circle: Singing traditional favorites, new songs and doing fingerplays together.
Animal Puppets: Using animal puppets as props for the children’s imaginative play, we sing and play traditional and new animal songs.
Rhythm Band: Each child has a rhythm band instrument as a prop for creative play and following directions rhythm band activities.
Movement Activities: We enjoy a variety of movement/dance activities.
Orff Instruments: We take turns playing a variety of Orff instruments including: Indian tom toms, African slit drums, glockenspiels, xylophones, contra bass xylo bar, and marimba...

Parent and Me Music Classes
These parent participation classes are available through the North Orange County Community College District as well as through a number of local Community Service Departments. Click on Schedule for a list of communities
Class sessions are 30 - 45 minutes, depending on the age of the children..
Children need and desire repetition. Adults
often prefer variety. To accommodate both parent and child we use the
same instruments and puppets for the duration of each session, usually
about 5-6 weeks. When we begin a new session the puppets and rhythm band
instruments, along with their songs, change completely. Circle time
songs and Orff instruments change less frequently.
Depending upon the location we offer classes for children between the
ages of 4 months and 4 years.
Pre School Music Classes
Kids Love Music contracts with Pre Schools and Day Care Centers throughout Orange
County to provide music classes for their students on a weekly,
biweekly, or special event basis. Groups of 10-12 children accompanied
by their teacher meet with Mrs Karen Mr Gary for 25-3O minutes,
depending on the school’s schedule.
